Woodhall Capital is delighted to be part of the 2022 Afreximbank Trade Finance Seminar (ATFS2022) and Factoring Workshop which began on October 3 in Kampala, Uganda.
African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) Trade Finance Seminar aims to equip African financial institutions, bankers and professionals from regulatory agencies, corporates, and legal firms with the skills necessary for dealing with the challenges of financing transactions under heightened global economic uncertainty.
The three-day program includes presentations, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and workshops focused on managing trade financing difficulties in the context of heightened global economic instability and the opportunity provided by the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.
The ATFS2022 which is being held in a face-to-face setting for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, is geared towards building participants’ skills to handle the increased demand for trade finance following the entry into force of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
Woodhall Capital’s representatives Chukwu Okechukwu and Henry Ugwoha are participating at this event alongside Senior Officials of the Ugandan Government, Directors and staff members of Afreximbank as well as key Trade and Finance professionals across the region.
The ATFS2022 was followed by a one-day factoring workshop that will include keynote presentations, panel discussions, and practical case studies regarding factoring, as well as workshops that will address delegates’ questions and concerns.
