We are seeking an experienced Head of Strategic Partnerships to lead on our Strategic Partnerships and nurture and grow the existing and new Partnerships.
The Opportunity:
Woodhall Capital has an exciting opportunity for a highly competent full-time Head of Strategic Partnerships to join our team in Lagos. This is a key role for the business that requires an experienced individual with a proven track record and strong leadership skills.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
- Nurture and grow the existing and new Partnerships to ensure they are fulfilling Relativity and Partner’s commercial, product, and strategic goals
- Establishing key performance indicators that will determine the ultimate success of each Partnership
- Lead strategic thinking on how we accelerate our growth with Partnerships
- Manage and execute end-to-end process of sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing those Partnerships
- Maintain all aspects of partnership go-to-market, ensuring that both parties hit their respective timelines prior, during, and after launch
- Enable Partner deal support, cross functional planning, relationship management, and analytical insights
- Manage executive-level contacts with key Partners, and C-suite level meetings
- Get alignment on the commercial agreement, with the support of our Head of Legal
- Carefully think through commercial and implementation details, together with the Partner and relevant internal departments
- Convince selected companies to partner with Woodhall Capital
- Develop strategies and business plans with Partners and execute against metrics and milestones to drive user growth and revenue
- Lead customized complex negotiation with our Strategic Partners
Qualifications:
- Executive Presence
- 10 -15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategic sales and account management, or management consulting
- Strong analytical, leadership, intellectual curiosity, and partnering skills
- Track record of making and executing decisions
- Production experience is preferred
- Experience in indirectly managing senior leaders across the organization
- Successful track record of sourcing, executing, and nurturing strategic partnerships
- Minimum bachelor's degree from a reputable tertiary institution
- Professional qualification in relevant discipline will be an added advantage
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Business administration, Marketing or related discipline).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
